Join Jessica and David for a wonderful one night wonder pre-summer break on the sunny shores of the Mar Menor. This is all about the “Slowcation” vibe—no rushing, no stress, and full-board service so you don’t have to lift a finger!

Stopping first for a relaxing coffee in Santiago de la Ribera from where we’ll catch the ferry across the calm, blue waters of the Mar Menor over to the famous La Manga strip. Our coach will be waiting at the marina to take us to the hotel, arriving just in time for a lovely midday buffet with wine and water included. After checking in, the afternoon is yours to enjoy exactly as you please. You can find a cosy spot by the pool, sink your toes into the sand just a short stroll from the hotel, or enjoy a wander along the strip. If you feel like exploring further, the local number 44 bus is a great way to see the sights at your own pace. Dinner is served from 20:00 (with wine and water) perfectly timed so you can watch the sky turn beautiful shades of pink and orange as the sun sets around 21:30.

After a night’s snooze and a leisurely breakfast, there is plenty more “slow time” to enjoy. You might like to relax at the hotel pool or the beach. You can stroll along the shore to Cabo de Palos—or hop on the local bus for the 3km journey. It is a truly picturesque spot with a “step back in time” feel, where you can enjoy a coffee overlooking the crystal-clear water and see the colourful fishing boats bobbing in the harbour. After a final buffet lunch (with wine and water), we’ll board our comfortable coach for the short drive to Los Alcázares. The atmosphere here will be absolutely wonderful, as it’s the Region of Murcia Day! The town comes alive with a joyful, local energy; the promenade will be buzzing with music and laughter as families celebrate. It’s the perfect place to grab a seat at a sunny café, soak up the festive spirit, and people-watch to your heart’s content. You’ll be back home around 17:30 feeling rested, revitalized, and ready for a beautiful summer!
