We are very excited to announce this amazing One Night Wander, researched, designed, and personally accompanied by us, Jessica and David, especially for you! This two-day holiday is full to bursting—just like the local almond trees—with spectacular scenery and memorable experiences. Every single detail has been meticulously taken care of, allowing you to simply relax and enjoy a hassle-free getaway.

We make full use of our time, by stopping for our comfort break in the Holy Town of Caravaca de la Cruz. After lunch (included) we visit a beautiful town nestled in the mountains and crowned by an impressive castle where we enjoy a flat, scenic 3km river walk that features stable wooden hanging platforms, a fascinating cave, and a secure metal suspension bridge. Because this gentle pathway is a direct out-and-back route, you have the complete freedom to stroll as much or as little as you please, entirely at your own comfortable pace. 

We start the second day with a comfortable morning journeying deep into an extraordinary, otherworldly desert in a chauffeur-driven 4×4 jeep. This magnificent landscape of deep ravines, dramatic canyons, and towering “fairy chimneys” offers breathtaking panoramic views, allowing us to experience nature’s raw beauty firsthand while traveling effortlessly off the beaten track. During our adventure, we will visit the private, family-owned almond groves of Miguel, our expert local jeep driver. We have timed this journey perfectly to coincide with the traditional almond harvest season, giving you an exclusive opportunity to see how these prized local crops are gently harvested from the trees and prepared for the table. We finish with a delicious local menu del dia which sets us up perfectly for the return journey.

For our overnight stay, we relax at the recently refurbished Ciudad de Pozo Alcon Hotel, which boasts an inviting bar and terrace area and is situated just 500m from the municipal swimming pool. To ensure a completely stress-free experience, both of your midday meals are fully included, alongside a spanish breakfast and a delightful evening dinner paired with a glass of wine.
