After two comfortable rest stops, our journey reaches the historic city of Antequera in the heart of Andalusia. The crowning glory is the dramatic Moorish Alcazaba towering over the city from its hill top perch. The steep winding streets in the area offer striking views of white-washed homes and slowly morph into the flatter central shopping and restaurant zone, where you can wander and grab a bite. Next, we head into rolling hills toward the unique Lobo Park to join expert guides along scenic paths and observe four distinct wolf species roaming large natural habitats. Following our walk on the wild side, we return to Antequera to check in, unwind, and enjoy a buffet dinner with wine. 

After a hearty breakfast, a scenic hour’s drive brings us to one of Spain’s ultimate natural wonders: the Caminito del Rey. Grab a quick coffee before gearing up with earpieces and safety kit for an unforgettable adventure. Our small group (maximum 34) meets a dedicated guide for a leisurely three-hour walk through dramatic gorges and cliffs, with fascinating stories about the site’s history and engineering. At the end, choose from kiosk spots for lunch before we return to Antequera to visit the UNESCO-listed Dolmen Menga, one of Europe’s largest Neolithic structures dating back nearly 6,000 years. Return to the hotel by coach at 17:00 or enjoy a leisurely 2km stroll through vibrant streets ahead of another delicious buffet dinner with wine. 

After a relaxed breakfast, we check out and head to El Torcal Natural Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its striking limestone formations. Accompanied by a local guide, we enjoy the 4.5km Ammonites Route—an easy three-hour circular walk where we’ll spot ancient fossils and take in spectacular mountain scenery. We stop for a relaxing Menú del Día lunch (included) before continuing our journey home, with a comfort break along the way. We aim to arrive back locally around 19:30.
