Pilar de la Horadada & Pinar de Campoverde

Pilar de la Horadada is the most southerly town in the province of Alicante and is the administrative capital of the neighbouring places of Pinar de Campoverde, Torre de la Horadada, Mil Palmeras and El Mojón.

The town itself is a mixture of old and modern. At its heart is the Plaza de la Iglesia, where the church, town hall and tourist office are all situated. In the nearby Casa de Cultural there is often an interesting temporary exhibition as well as the Gratiniano Baches Museum. There is a weekly street market every Friday morning and the Lo Romero 18 hole golf course is just a few kilometres away.

Slightly further inland is the suburb of Pinar de Campoverde. This is a large, recently built urbanisation with a selection of shops, bus route and the Rio Seco Natural Park.
