On the 7th and 8th September 2024 Yecla will be celebrating their grape harvest for the making of wine with the Vendimia Festival. During this weekend the five local bodegas, Castaño, Evine, Barahonda, Conde de Montornés y La Purísima, will set up in the Parque de la Constitucion and will offer their wines and tapas. You must buy tickets for the tastings and these cost 11€ for 3 tapas and 2 wines. There will also be an exhibition of Traditional Dancing .
Saturday 7th September
19:00 Opening of the Festival at theMunicipal followed by a Folk Dancing Parade to the Parque de la Constitucion Auditorio with the traditonal treading of the grapes
Sunday 8th September
13:00 Plaza de Espana Wine Tasting from the 5 Bodegas of Yecla
