The Moors and Christians will be parading through the streets of Benidorm from the 3rd to the 6th October 2024. The fiesta in honour of San Jamie Apostel takes place at the same time every year. The programme, in English below, includes a number of parades, mock battles and a flower offering.
Friday 4th October
10.30 Diana, early morning parade with the music bands and the Moors and Christians
20:00 Invasion of the Moors on Playa Levante, near Calle Valencia, where the Moors re-enact the invasion and taking of the town from the Christians.
Saturday 5th October

20:00 Spectacular Moors and Christians Parade through the streets of the town along Tomas Ortuno, Venus, Ruzafa, Martínez Alejos, Gambo, Plaza Hispanidad ending on Avenida Bilbao.
Sunday 6th October
12:00 Parliament at the castle.
12:30 Flower Offering Parade to San Jaime Apostol from Plaza Hispanidad along Gambo, Martínez Alejos, Alameda, Mayor.
20:00 Festival Carnival Parade including the Fiesta Queens and the Moors and Christians Legions with sweets, streamers and gifts being thrown from the floats into the crowd. Itinerary: Calle Tomas Ortuño, Venus, Ruzafa, Martínez Alejos, Gambo finishing in Plaza Hispanidad, in front of the Castle.
