Benidorm Patron Saint Fiestas 2024 EuroTourGuide Coach Tours
The programme for the patron saints fiesta in Benidorm which will be celebrated from the 9th to the 13th November 2024. The town will honour their two patron saints; San Jaime the Apostle and the Virgen del Sufragio during the festivities known as Las Fiestas Mayores Patronales in Spanish. Lots of events have been planned including the flower offering, carnival and fancy dress parades, ringing of the church bells, band parades, religious services, float parade and of course fireworks!

Saturday 9th November
11:45 Opening of the doors of the San Jaime Church for the singing of the verses to Our Lady of Suffrage.
12:00 Ringing of the bells and day time fireworks announcing the official beginning of the Patron Saint Festivities from the Plaza Castelar.
12:15 Entrance Parade of the Bands and the Fiesta Queens from the Plaza de San Jaime. Route: Calle Mayor, Alameda del Alcalde D. Pedro Zaragoza Orts, Calle Herrerias ending in la Plaza de SSMM los Reyes de España.
13:00 Meeting of the Bands in the Plaza SS.MM Los Reyes de España for the performance of the official fiesta music.
17:00 Theatrical performance of the Finding of our Patron Saint, the Virgen del Sufragio on Poniente Beach.
18:30 Solemn Procession with the Fiesta Queens, other dignitaries and all of the people of Benidorm along the route: Parque de Elche, Paseo de la Carretera, Alameda del Alcalde D. Pedro Zaragoza Orts, Calle Mayor and finishing at the Plaza San Jaime where the Flower Offering to our lady of Suffrage and the Fiesta Speeches will take place.
Sunday 10th November
11:30 Solemn Mass in honour of Our Lady of Suffrage in the San Jaime Church followed by day time fireworks and parades around the streets of the old town.
14:00 Grand Mascleta in the Avda. Jaime I
19:30 Solemn Procession in honour of Our Lady of Suffrage, Fiesta Queens, other dignitaries and all of the people of Benidorm along the route: Calle Mayor, Alameda del Alcalde D. Pedro Zaragoza Orts, Los Ángeles, Pintor Lozano, Virgen del Sufragio, Martínez Alejos, Paseo de la Carretera, Santa Faz finishing in the Plaza de San Jaime. At the end of the Procession, the typical Estampeta (fireworks) will fired from Plaza de San Jaime.
23:00 Traditional Copletes will be sung in honor of Our Lady of Suffrage, accompanied by the Xirimita i Tabalet (pipe and drum) in the Plaza de San Jaime.
02:00 Correfocs (firework show) starting from the Plaza SSMM Los Reyes de España along Calle del Hondo, Calle Escuelas, Calle Tomas Ortuno, Calle La Biga, Avenida Ruzafa, Av Martinez Alejos finishing in Calle Gambo.
Monday 11th November
11:30 Solemn Mass in honour of the patron saint San Jaime the Apostle, followed by fireworks and a parade of the music bands through the streets of Benidorm.
14:00 Grand Mascleta in the Avda. Jaime I
19:00 Solemn Procession in honour to our Patron Saint San Jaime Apostol along Calle Mayor, Alameda del Alcalde D. Pedro Zaragoza Orts, Paseo de la Carretera, Santa Faz finishing in the Plaza de San Jaime. At the end of the Procession, the typical Estampeta (fireworks) will fired from Plaza de San Jaime.
Tuesday 13th November
10:30 Requiem Mass in honour of the deceased of Benidorm, at San Jaime y Santa Ana Church, followed by the offering of a Crown of Laurel at the monument to the Fallen at Sea in the Plaza de la Señoría and the visit to both of the cemeteries to say a prayer for the dead and to place a crown of flowers.
14:00 Superb Digital Firecracker Display in Avda. Jaime I
19:00 Fancy Dress Parade along Calles Martínez Alejos, Ruzafa and Venus
Wednesday 14th November
11:00 Festa de les Festes Parade of the different festivities of Benidorm. Route: Plaza de Neptuno, Avd. Los Almendros, Mercado, Tomas Ortuño, La Biga, Ruzafa, Herrerías finishing in the Plaza de SSMM Los Reyes de España.
13:00 Candy and Fireworks String at the Plaza SS. MM los Reyes de España
18:00 Carnival Float Parade from Parque de Elche along Almendros, Marte, Venus, Ruzafa, Martínez Alejos, Gambo and finishing at Plaza de la Hispanidad, followed by a Marvellous Firework Display at the Poniente Beach.
