A new experience for the Hogueras Fiesta in Alicante. Join us for the amazing Ninots Exhibition and Parade. There will be an optional stop at the Ninot Exhibition in the Antigua Lonja de Pescados (1.50€ entrance) for you to admire the ninots from each of the 200 Hogueras Commissions. Then onto the centre for some tapas before the 3 hour Ninot Parade starts at 19:00, where the Hogueras Commissions parade in fancy dress costumes which represent the theme of their Ninot. This is a fun filled night where the locals embrace the fiesta feel!
Elche CF Seasion Ticket Campaign 2023/2024
The La Liga football season has now finished and Elche CF will be playing in the Segunda division for the 2023/24 season. Next season will be EuroTourGuide’s 5th season offering Match Tickets and Travel as well as discounted Travel to Season Ticket Holders to the Martinez Valero. The Season Ticket Campaign will start in July when the prices will be confirmed. You can sign up now to receive a special email with this information once it is available. The EuroTourGuide Calendar of Events is back to offering a great range of exciting things for you to do in the local area!
The Costa Blanca South has 3 Free Guided Routes; In Orihuela you can be guided around the Convents on Saturday and learn about the History and Curiosities of Easter on the Sunday, whilst Novelda is offering chance to get to know it’s Modernist Route. The Moors and Christians will be parading on Saturday evening in Benejuzar and the Patron Saint Fiesta starts in Rojales with a Grand Mascleta and the switching on of the Fiesta lights on Sunday. In Santa Pola you can join the Romeria del Cap and walk with the statue of the Virgen del Rosaio as it is carried from Santa pola to the Ermita along the coast road on Sunday morning. It is the final days of the Prawn and Red Pepper Gastronomy week in Guardamar del Segura and the Street Food Festival in Elche has been rescheduled for this weekend with the Beatles Tribute Liverpool Band playing at 13:00 on Saturday. The Hogueras Fiesta in Alicante really gets going with the Ninots Parade on Saturday night, there are a few places still available for the coach tour to this fun filled parade.
In the Costa Blanca North, Moraira starts their Moors and Christians Fiesta with a parade and presentation of the Standards from each group on Saturday, whilst the Annual Cherry Festival can be enjoyed in the Val de Gallinera.
In the Costa Calida, the spa town of Archena will finish their Patron Saints Fiesta with a spectacular Carnival Parade on Sunday evening, and on Friday and Saturday you can try a Tapa and Drink for 3.50€ at any of the 20 establishments participating in the 5th La Manga Tapas Route.
