The annual May Fair will take place in Torrevieja from the 11th to the 15th May 2022. The fair has a traditional Andalusian feel to it and is always worth enjoying.

 

The programme is packed with some great free shows, including horse parades and flamenco dancing. There is also a large firework display and the opportunity to try some traditional foods from the 'casetas' which are special erected marquees. Take your camera as there will be ladies wearing flamenco dresses by the hundreds, men in traditional countryside costumes and masses of horses. The fair ground will be open everyday for you to visit and enjoy some typical Andalusian cuisine and atmosphere, although it is mainly an evening event with a party atmosphere. It is located beside the Marina in Torrevieja and entrance to the Fair Ground is free.

 

 

20:30 Inauguration of the Festival (at the fair ground beside the marina) and switching on of the fair ground lights, followed by fireworks.

 

13:00 Horses and Carriage Parade from the church to the fair ground, where the parade continues until 17:00.
