The Fallas in Valencia takes place during March every year. It is well worth seeing and can be into four main events; the Mascleta, the Flower Festival, the Nit del Foc and the La Crema.
The Carnival in Aguilas is the biggest and best in the area and has been declared as being of National Tourist Interest with the main parades taking place on Sunday 23rd and Tuesday 25th and Saturday 29th February 2020.
There will be a Medieval Market in Villena from the 6th to the 8th March 2020. It will be the 19th edition of this popular Medieval Market and over 160 stalls and taverns will be installed in the Barrio del Rabal area, just below the castle.
The 32nd edition of the Carnival will take place in Santiago de la Ribera from the 22nd February to the 2nd to the 1st March 2020, with the Grand Parade on Sunday 1st March.
