July is the month for music. The Elche Jazz Festival has 5 concerts in 5 days, whilst the FiJazz Festival starts in Alicante with a total of 14 Concerts this month. Callosa de Segura is hosting a Concert every Thursday evening in the Jardin Glorieta during July and an evening cruise with live music can be enjoyed every Thursday in Cartagena. There are 2 Concerts in Dolores, on Saturday there is a Festival by local bands which starts at 5pm, and on Sunday The Musical Bands will be playing at 21:00. The cycke of Summer Concerts in the Castle begins in Santa Pola with a Circus preformance. Finally, the Habaneras en la Playa returns to Torrevieja on Saturday night, the concert starts at 22:00, but it is best to arrival well inadvance in order to get a 'social distanced plot on the beach'.
The Patron Saint Fiesta draws to a close in Rojales this weekend with a Concert on Friday night and the Entrance of the Moors on Saturday and the Christians on Sunday. It is the final weekend of the specially prepared Fiesta Menus in Rojales. The renovated Pascual Flores, a transport ship was orginally built in Torrevieja in 1917, is back in the marina and can be visited for free until the 11th July.
