The EuroTourGuide Coach Tours Positive Place this week is the Vega Baja village of Benejuzar where we visit the Central Plaza, the Sanctuary of the Virgen del Pilar and take a short walk up the steps to the Mirador viewpoint. The village has quite a complicated oneway system, so park as near as you can and walk to the Central Plaza
Sanctuary of the Virgen del Pilar 38.065404, -0.830014
There is a small car park behind the church or continue around the back of the church and then downhill for the large gravelled car park.
Mirador Viewpoint 38.065404, -0.830014
From the Sanctuary walk along the exit road downhill until you see the green signpost Mirador and below it a red route marker, it is just before a road to the right and the first set of barbecues.
Zona Ocio La Pilarica 38.065217, -0.832817
The four walking and cycling trails start from here, they vary in length between 5km and 8km. Scroll to the bottom and click to download the free map of the trails
