What's on Newsletter 25th April 2021
The EuroTourGuide Coach Tours Positive Place this week is the Torreta de Guardamar. This radio communications tower is used by the Spanish Military to communicate with submarines. It is 475 meters in total, 95 meters of which is below the ground and 380 meters above the ground.
The mast can not be visited as it is Military ground, but you can walk or cycle along the 'camino' roads in the area and get some close up views. A good place to park is in the car park at Los Rosales Restaurant. 38.062439, -0.675934 https://goo.gl/maps/VqkL9jkdDn3YzjLq9
If you want a great view of the sea too, then there is the Mirador el Moncayo, on the CV895 elevated roundabout 38.062136, -0.655897 https://goo.gl/maps/EqEehSBhhKzt7CBd6
This is our last Positive Place Video as the number of Covid vaccinations are increasing and we are anticipating a return to travel in the future. We hope that you have enjoyed watching them and have found some new and interesting places to visit.
Don't forget your camera to take your photo for the EuroTourGuide Facbook Page or Coach Tour Facebook Group.

With the Covid pandemic still very much in charge, the Calendar of Events is very quiet. There are the regular weekly market to enjoy, and there are some Free Guided Visits in Pilar de la Horadada, Orihuela and around the La Mata Natural Park, all of which need to be booked in advance.
Please keep staying safe and have fun enjoying the EuroTourGuide Positive Experience and posting your photo on Facebook.
