The EuroTourGuide Positive Place this week is the Molino de Agua Park on the coast between Torrevieja and La Mata. The park covers 17,000 hectares and includes the beach, sand dunes, pine trees and the man made water way. The water way does not function everyday, but the water is generally flowing at the weekends.
Parking is on the main road beside the Molino de Agua Park. Click on the link or copy and paste the coordinates into google 38.013872, -0.658830 https://goo.gl/maps/6ENbch26FiEATtwTA. The brick paths are suitable for everyone including pushchairs and wheelchairs. They crisscross the park which slopes gently towards the sand dune ridge and then down to the sea, where it links with the coastal path between the two urban areas. You can extend your walk by following the coastal path or the shoreline in either direction. There are picnic tables in the park.

There is a small selection of events to enjoy this weekend. Torrevieja has it's Free Guided Route of the Birds around the La Mata Lagoon on Saturday, this must be reserved in advance. There are 37 Tapas to try during the 17th Guiame Tapas Route in Denia and Menus with free entrance to the Fonts del Algar in Callosa D'en Sarria. Following the International break, Elche CF travel away to Valencia to face Levante on Saturday the 21st November at 14:00.
