Antonio Najarro, the youngest director in the history of the Spanish National Ballet, is now a world-famous choreographer known for his breath taking productions. Romance Sonámbulo (Sleepwalking Romance) is inspired by one of Federico García Lorca’s most enigmatic and captivating poems. Published as part of Romancero Gitano, its haunting verses have been recited, sung, and cherished for generations. This ballet brings Lorca’s mysterious, moonlit world to life, weaving together the passion and richness of Spanish dance in all its forms. Through mesmerizing movement, it captures the dark beauty and elusive sensuality of Lorca’s nocturnal poetry.
