A uniquely local One Night Wander Tour – the perfect pre-summer beach escape before the crowds roll in!
We set off for the stunning coastal town of Cabo de Palos, a hidden gem at the gateway to La Manga Strip. With its charming marina, rugged coastline, golden sands, and scenic promenade leading to a majestic lighthouse, it’s the perfect spot to soak up the sea air. Take time to explore, sip a coffee by the water, and enjoy the laid-back Mediterranean vibe. From here, we journey along the Strip, pausing for a delicious Menú del Día—a true taste of the coast. Then it’s on to the marina, where you can relax with a drink as the boats drift lazily in the sunshine. The ferry carries us across the tranquil waters to Santiago de la Ribera, followed by a short coach trip to our hotel, where you can unwind and settle in for the night. Dinner isn’t included, but with a fantastic choice of restaurants just steps away, you’re spoilt for choice – and after such a satisfying lunch, you might fancy a light tapas selection and drinks as you soak up the evening atmosphere.
The next morning is all about relaxation. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading out to the nearby beach – just a short stroll away. Wander the palm-lined promenade, sink your toes into the warm sand, or take a refreshing dip in the Mar Menor’s calm waters. Then, it’s time for a splash of culture as we hop aboard the Tourist Train for a colourful journey through the town’s famous urban art scene. Over 140 vibrant murals transform the streets into an open-air gallery, making for an unforgettable sightseeing experience. We’ll round off the trip with another mouth watering Menú del Día at a beachfront restaurant before indulging in a little retail therapy at La Zenia Boulevard. With over 160 shops and eateries, it’s the perfect place to pick up a treat or two before heading home, relaxed and refreshed.
